Kate Sweat, Professional Counselor Associate (She/Her)

Individual and Couples Therapy in Oregon

My approach is existential, relational, and trauma-informed. I draw on somatic work, creative expression, polyvagal theory, and compassion-based practices to support you in navigating grief, trauma, and life transitions. I have extensive experience in end-of-life care and hold space for taboo or complex topics with honesty, humor, and care.

I support individuals navigating grief, major life transitions, and trauma. Whether dealing with loss, aging, chronic illness, or PTSD, my clients often feel overwhelmed and isolated, searching for meaning and connection during difficult times. If you’re looking for someone to truly understand and walk with you through these challenges, I’m here to help.

I create a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel seen and heard. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in existential and narrative therapies. I work with humor, creativity, and somatic practices to help you process emotions and find strength through adversity.

You don’t have to face these challenges alone. If you’re ready to find a path forward and feel more connected to yourself, I’d love to work with you. Let’s start the journey together.
